The group sings mainly two part harmony songs of all kinds from folk songs to new songs to show songs, but always for pleasure. We meet every Friday morning, in term time, in the ‘Lounge’ which is adjacent to the ‘Workshop’ of Holy Trinity Parish Church in the centre of the village. Access is usually through the passage way between ‘Flames’ and ‘Marks and Spencer’. Norma Stephenson takes the sessions with a prize winning pianist Charles Southern as accompanist. We are limited by the size of the room to 40 members and currently have a waiting list. There are no qualification or audition requirements but an ability to read or follow music would be an advantage. The group has been running some 10 years and gives public performances every 6 months or so to generate monies for new music. Fees are £5.00 per (10 week) term, which pays for the hire of the room and makes a contribution to the music costs
