POETRY FOR FUN
| This is a friendly group of poetry enthusiasts who enjoy finding a couple of poems to read and discuss, based on a theme the group has chosen previously. Topics are varied with many different styles of poetry: traditional, contemporary, sonnets, and more. We learn as we go along, finding inspiration and new poetry together. If members have time to research a little, then the background to the poem and poet can be enlightening. There’s a break in the middle for refreshments and a chat. | |
